The Stock Level Light is used in the kitchen area of a restaurant to keep employees aware of the "stock level" which they should be maintaining at the current time, in order to operate efficiently.  The display indicates levels of 0 through 9, as well as P (Peak Time) or DT (concentrate on drive-thru).  Each time the level is changed, a buzzer sounds and the display flashes to alert employees to the change.
